Swivel

Swivel is a mechanical device used on a drilling rig that hangs directly under the traveling block and directly above the kelly drive, that provides the ability for the kelly (and subsequently the drill string) to rotate while allowing the traveling block to remain in a stationary rotational position (yet allow vertical movement up and down the derrick) while simultaneously allowing the introduction of drilling fluid into the drill string.

Washpipe packing set assembly adopts cassette structure, so it can be quickly replaced without disassembling rotary hose and gooseneck. 3LP and 4LP internal or external thread hose connection thread are available for you. Our swivel meets API SPEC 8C PSL1 standards. We can also manufacture low temperature resistant swivel according to customer’s requirements.

2.Driven by air motor and hydraulic motor, with keyless connection adopted between spinner and central pipe of swivel.

3.It is designed and manufactured according to API Spec 8A ” Specification For Drillling And Production Hoisting Equipment”.
